Shakeel Adam & Michael Kanacher moderated panels at the Terapinn Aviation Outlook conference in Beijing, China.

 

Michael moderated the Airline Distribution Panel: "How can full service airlines defray GDS costs to stay competitive when faced with stiff LCC competition?" including senior executives from airlines and GDSs. The panel addressed major challenges facing traditional Chinese carriers as they adjust their business model to lower costs.

 

Shakeel moderated the Regional Airlines Leaders Panel: "Crafting an optimal & profitable route within China" including senior executives from major legacy carriers & LCCs. A very spirited discussion, this panel challenged the executives to look into the future and address the challenge associated efficiently addressing the traffic needs of the Chinese market.
