ATHENA AVIATION Advisory Council member Dr. Fred Lazar will present on the subject of "The Future of Hub Networks" at the 16th World Route Development Forum in Vancouver.

 

Dr. Lazar will explore the linkages between the evolution of hubs and the progression of global route networks. Combining historical background and projections for the future evolution of hub networks you will find answers to questions such as:

 

  • What airports are most likely to be the international gateways in the future?
  • What airports are likely to serve as important regional hubs?
  • What airports are likely to end up as stubs?
  • This presentation will summarize a few projections of the growth in air travel over the next 20 years in particular the variances between alliance and non-alliance
