With over 20 years in Lufthansa German Airlines and Star Alliance Services GmbH, Michael is an expert on commercial management, marketing and sales, and alliances. As Regional Director Asia/Pacific for Star Alliance, he led the alliance activities in the region and project managed the integration of two Chinese airline members into the alliance.
Most recently, he has assisted a European airline to select their best-fit alliance, a Russian airline on integration into an alliance and a major global aliance on various commercial projects. Michael has used his experience in sales and marketing as well as in managing international operations to assist airlines and alliances with performance improvement across Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East.
